Never have topics like this been used in Yoyo meetings. It's highly experimental and a challenge for new ideas and vocabulary lo. 8)

“ 3. In the context of the above we’re talking about , what can you do to improve the situation? There was this kid in my class. When "反服貿" movement was there on TV, to show her support, she made a poster saying "我國中生,我反服貿" and put it on the wall in the classroom. I ask her, "What is 服貿? Why are yo...

Re: [ONLINE]8/10 (Tue.) Vaccination: Public Good vs. Personal Freedom (Host: Iris)

Q3: Do you think patenting the COVID vaccine is unethical? Why? Considering the worldwide vaccine shortage and distribution issues, what do you think about the equality of human rights in the context of medicine availability? Is it fair to say that Big Pharma prioritize “profit over lives” and reap...

3.If your children live abroad and do not come back to Taiwan, would you feel sad or regret to send them abroad?

It depends on how successful they are, how rich they get, and how much money they send back to daddy and mommy.

Maybe the Electric Vehicles will unveil another meaningful industrial revolution in near future.
But it's actually not so new, you know.

I believe cars will be shared instead owned in the future, and there will be no illegal parking or reckless driving with auto pilot. When will we see this? In 10 years.

Re: 5/4 (Tue.) Scarcity and Tunnel Vision (Host: Sherry)

Q5. How do you notice that you are running out of mental bandwidth and are inside a tunnel? What are your solutions? Yes, you're right, she didn't say that. As for the implications, it depends on how you read it, I guess. And I can see that you're empathetic, you relate what she feels, that's very nice of you. But to me, the condescension is there. I am probably wrong; people may see it differently. It would be an...

@Kooper, Agree. I was kind of carried away and got too serious when I was writing that thing. It looks as if I was having a fight with that woman, which is totally silly. @Stephen, Agree, unless that one is a gorgeous lady, I suppose. I read that Apple Daily article. Her opinion is interesting. And it's delivered in a bit of condescending air, which is also interesting. :? What the writer mentioned is a conventional Taiwanese conversation. We know that most of time, it's not intended to be harmful, but rather friendly. She is Tai...

4) Finally, mere positive mindset is not enough, hard-work is essential and continuous practice is required. The practice could be simply writing journal, reciting 3 things you are grateful daily, or any mindfulness exercises to get you unstuck from the negatives and move to actions. Isn't it a bit...
