As for working on the understanding of this famous quoat, I guess there must be a way. :) What was in my mind referomg to the quatation, theft, dishonar, lie, are all contrast to honest. Therefore, 偷了一分錢就等於(像是)遺棄誠實. 所以我取其意, 還有英文的被動語氣真直接翻...
