Everyone is invited to the Language Night at the Brass Monkey this Sunday evening (Apr. 30). This month we're going to talk about human cloning. Have you ever seen "The 6th Day"? Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a man who comes home from work one day to find that a clone has replaced him. He gets involved in a sinister conspiracy that threatens to destroy the world. Don't think this is just a movie. Cloning a human may be happening now! There are rumors that scientists have successfully initiated a pregnancy through reproductive cloning, although it is specifically forbidden by law in many countries. Arguments surrounding human cloning never cease. Is human cloning ethical? Would clones be less human? Are you familiar with this issue?
