Thank you for your daily introduction of classical music. They're very helpful to me and I do appreciate your efforts. Hopefully you could still introduce gorgeous music from time to time.
Re: 每日一曲
Yes~ I agree with Kooper. It's nothing about box office. And I believe there are some people enjoy it in the same way.

Re: 每日一曲
It doesn't seem available on the market. Sigh...toshi 寫:8/21:Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia played by Perlman & Zukerman
(The last movement of George Frideric Handel's Harpsichord Suite in G minor (HWV 432) is a passacaglia which has become well known as a duo for violin and viola, arranged by the Norwegian violinist Johan Halvorsen.)
I prefer violin+viola to violin+cello version.
Somehow all the violin+cello performances on Youtube seem to compete with each other rather than collaborate.
Re: 每日一曲
The above two video clips has gone. I found another two.toshi 寫:Actually I found another version of his performance.Kooper 寫:
His performance, especially the first few minutes, is mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing.

The sound quality after compressed is better.
But I prefer his previous performance. (Which one do you prefer?)
Enjoy it! ^_^
Between them, I like the 1st one, which has better audio quality and more inspiring - sounds like music coming down from heaven.
Re: 每日一曲
I also prefer the performance of Perlman & Zukerman. It's not because of the instruments. If you ever heard of their relationship, you will see why their music is so great. Please watch the following video. Maybe you can feel it too.Kooper 寫:It doesn't seem available on the market. Sigh...toshi 寫:8/21:Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia played by Perlman & Zukerman

By the way, I also found another two versions of their performance in Youtube:
About CD collection, actually there is at least a version available in stock. Here it is:
Duets For Two Violins / Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman
One more famous version, performed by Jascha Heifetz and William Primrose:
I don't know if you care about the sound quality. Before, yes, I do care about the sound quality. But now I prefer rather the rhythm and the feeling. ^_^
Enjoy it!

I have this version. It's Glenn Gould Edition - Bach: Partitas, Preludes & Fugues, Sony
My favorite one. I enjoy it most of the time.
I think this version is quite special.
Sometimes I really enjoy it very much. Can't stop listening to it.
Yet sometimes I just feel it's awful. Can't even finish it at all.
I don't know why.
Pity, the sound quality seems not so good after compressed.
I really want to get the original video. Maybe it will be better!
Maybe you can compare the sound effect difference between
