光是讀他寫的序...就能感受到翻譯的用心...和他對這本書的深刻體會以及翻譯所下的苦心說
略舉一段可以看出費茲傑羅玩弄排列文字的段落...大家略讀一下可以體會其中聲韻之美...奧斯丁有這本書的有聲書...每次聽都覺得很像聽音樂一樣呢

而讀過這本書的...更是不會錯過那盞象徵了夢想的""綠燈""-人類追尋的目標..
Quote: "Gatsby's wonder when he first picked out the green light at the end of Daisy's dock....his dream must have seemed so close that he could hardly fail to grasp it. He did not know that it was already behind him." Chapter 9, pg. 182
而雖然在追尋理想的過程...總是有挫折...讓人感受現實的殘酷...
Quote: "Gatsby himself didn't believe [her call] would come, and perhaps he no longer cared. If that was true he must have felt that he had lost the old warm world, paid a high price for living too long with a single dream. He must have looked up at an unfamiliar sky through frightening leaves and shivered as he found what a grotesque thing a rose is and how raw the sunlight was upon the scarcely created grass. 但是結尾最有名的那段...還是給人灌輸了無限的理想性

而整本書更是有很多雋永的句子...奧斯丁的簽名檔裡用的就是其中一句呦..
