Hi Anne, sorry I came late and left early due to a conference call late tonight. You might had told from my face that I was totally occupied and drained by work these days.

I'm very very glad to see Lydia tonight. After taking such a long rest, finally she restored her energy and showed up. Welcome back, Lydia. It's a pity that I didn't get much chance to talk to you. Hopefully next time we can find some time to talk.

What a wonderful evening. I laughed a lot. Thanks to our host, Anne, who did a splendid job on this topic, not to mention the efforts to heat up each and every group by sharing her thoughts.

He also shared a witty way to trick yourself spend less than $NT300 each day.

Besides that I must say, it's really nice to have discussions with Luis, even during recess. He's an enthusiastic English learner, and he thinks about what he's learned, brings up questions which deserve discussion/brainstorming. Here's something I would like to tell Luis. It's about the usage of "vary" he asked today. We didn't have a certain conclusion, and of course didn't come to an agreement. Therefore I looked up Dictionary.com and here's what I found:

to change periodically or in succession; differ or alternate.
eg: Demand for certain products varies with the season.

What Luis was trying to say might have been something like this:
The meals they offer at the coffee shop vary with the situation.

The so-called rich is when you "need" something and you get them.

BTW, I also like to share a joke (a bit obscence, allow me...) about the word "lunchbar" Karmen mentioned:
A friend once asked his girl friend what to eat at noon. She replied to eat "lunchbar." And he misunderstood as "爛 X X".

To Georgia, 檢舉 should be "inform" instead of "turn".

I said "turn someone in", and I believe that is the phrase which is used very often for 檢舉...

It has always been enjoyable and pleasant to join YOYO’s meetings; everything still seems so familiar and warm.

During the meeting, I was so impressed by Sherry who is a shopping master that she can find beautiful stuff at an incredible low cost. Congratulations to Wayne again to have Claire as his better half to be industrious and thrifty in running their home.

Thanks Chiron for his being volunteer speaker twice, also thanks Anne to host such a great meeting for us as she always does.
