所以在 claim 中，"或"只用在這樣的地方，例如：木材、不銹鋼或鐵弗龍。圓的、方的或三角形。
如果在 claim 的敘述上用"或"，或是幾個相對應的方法用"或"，等等的狀況應該是不被允許的。因為這些地方有邏輯上的疑慮，有爭論的空間，所以不能用"或"，要以更明確的方式來敘述。
目前的規定其實已經比以前來的放寬了，我記得以前更嚴格的！ ^_^

Well, I am not a pro, and am not qualified to talk about claim writing. But since there are a whole bunch of patent engineers in my office, I just explained your comments to one of those.

The PE said he did agree that they used to avoid using "or" in claims in the past, but seemed like things had been changed. Now "or" is to some extent commonly used in claims. Even the template which TIPO provided contained "or" in their claims. And the using of "or" in claims would not be taken as a reason for rejection.

He thought it was all about writing skills. The point was to make the description of claims in a clear way. It was not necessary to avoid using "or" all the time.

I see...they did avoid using "or" in claims before. But now the rule is not so restricted.
