Hello everyone. This is Harvey. It’s my first time to be the host for this Wednesday’s gathering. There is hot news related to credit card recently. It was amazing how a 27-year-old woman Yang Hui-ju can made profits of more than NT$1 million over the past three months using just her credit card. Local Chinese-language media dubbed her a “goddess of cards”. I believe that most of people are slaves of cards and I would like to discuss “Using credit card wisely” with you and hope this topic will interest you.

Session I :
1. Do you agree with Yang Hui-ju’s behavior? Do you think she is qualified to be called “card goddess”?

2. Yang Hui-ju recommends that consumers should not use cash card or pay off your credit cards in full every month, otherwise you will become a slave of cards. Do you agree with her or you have other suggestions?

3. If you are a owner of bank, will you hire Ms. Yang and pay her NT$ 30 million for yearly salary? Why ?

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of credit cards?

2. How many credit cards do you have? Will you apply for more credit cards for the gifts or convenience?

3. Will you earn more credit card reward points by increase consuming activities ? Have you ever used reward points to redeem premiums? Please share your experience of you have redeemed the biggest premium.

4. How do you use your credit cards wisely? If you have the experience, please share any tips.
