Hello! I'm Andy. It's my pleasure to be the host on November 12. We are going to discuss two different topics, one is about cognitive biases that screw up your decisions and the other is about a report on the median monthly wage in Taiwan in 2015.

[Questions]
1. Do you think yourself as a good decision maker? Why or Why not?
2. According to the article and video above, what are some biases you may have when making a decision? Please share your experience with us. You can also answer one or two of the questions below.
2-1 (bandwagon effect) Have you ever believed or done something because people around you believe or do it?
2-2 (suck cost fallacy) Have you ever refused to abandon something unrewarding because you’ve already invested in it?
2-3 (self-serving bias) Have you ever believed that a positive outcome is completely due to your talents (when it may be partly explained by chance factors or the efforts of others) or a negative outcome in your life is on other people or bad luck (when it may be partly due to bad decisions made by yourself)?
2-4 (confirmation bias)
Have you ever sought and prioritized information that confirms your existing beliefs for helping you feel more secure?
2-5 (anchoring bias)
Have you ever excessively focused on the first piece of information you received when making a decision?
