Questions for Discussion:
Session 1
1.The speaker said,” All of us are procrastinators.” Do you agree with it? Why or why not? What kind of people do you think are more likely to drag than others?
2.Why do people procrastinate? What things do you tend to delay and what not? When you are procrastinating, what do you think and how do you feel?
3.What is the worst procrastination you have done or seen? What frustration or troubles has procrastination brought to your life? What kind of delay can you stand and what drives you crazy?
4.What excuses will you or other people make when you are delaying doing something that you should do? Share a good and/or lousy ones you have heard of or made.
Session 2
5.Do you have any good ideas to beat procrastination?
6.Many people fall into the habit of procrastination, but is it really a “problem”? Can you think of any advantages of it?
7.The speaker mentioned procrastination "with" and "without" deadline. Please give us some examples. What are the differences between them? Do they cause you similar or different regret or pain? Are you procrastinating on something serious now ? What is it? Why?
8.What works best to you - delay doing something until the last minute, make progress step by step following a plan, or others?
