Hey, there is a dispute over eating again.
I would like you guys to play roles as Plaintiff (原告),Defendant (被告), Judge, and Witness in a moot court (模擬法庭).
Here is the judicial case:
Plaintiff: The boss of “Lai-Lai Seafood Restaurant,”who is a 45-year-old female and has run the restaurant for 10 years.
Defendant:The customer, who is a 32 year-old engineer.
Fact:
In a restaurant, there was a customer ordering catfish (鯰魚), which cost NT 400 and weighed 650 grams. But the waiter made a mistake and served the customer a codfish(鱈魚), which cost NT 500 and weighted 350 grams. The customer enjoyed the fine menu as usual, but afterward he refused to pay the bill. However, he claimed he could not tell any differences between codfish and catfish and it was the waiter's fault from the very first.
Trial procedures---
A trial will normally proceed along the following lines:
A judge, who has the supreme power to bring in the final verdict.
Pro-team contains 2 plaintiff lawyers, and a witness.
Con-team contains 2 defendant lawyers, and a witness.
