Questions for discussion:
Session One:
1. Please pick out three ideas that you hope to achieve in Taiwan's society most. Why you choose them? What kind of consensus or foundation do you think the society needs to have to achieve these ideas? What obstacles do you think will be encountered?
2. Do you think Europeans are more inclined to socialism while Americans are more inclined to capitalism? Which one do you prefer? Why?
3. Please pick out one idea that you don't want to achieve in Taiwan. Why? If the idea were promoted in Taiwan, what would you react?

Session Two:
4. There are many interviews and dialogues in the film. Please pick out three most inspiring. Please tell us the reason you choose them.
5. Among the ideas in the film, which ones do you think have some commonalities? For example: doing better and being more productive by less working time, less school days and less homework; to lock up wouldn't help but would just create more hatred; preventing worse sickness physically or psychologically; etc.
6. If Michael Moore has a chance to invade Taiwan in the future, guess what idea he wants to stole? What idea would you suggest him to stole?

Most of us know fairly well about Michael Moore because of his "Fahrenheit 9/11". "Where to Invade Next" may sound a bit "naive" in some cases, but overall, the same idea, "to make America great again", was presented in such a humble, modest, self-reflective manner vs. the current US policy. I cannot wait for Moore's next documentary, "Fahrenheit 11/9"!

Thanks for introducing us this eye-opening & intriguing documentary. It’s pretty lengthy and I started it very late, so I am not sure if I can finish it before the meeting (oops, I’m in a bind now). Anyway, it’s definitely worth watching and I’ll continue watching the rest even after our discussion.
