Hey. I would like to add 2 questions in section one.
Question 4: Do you agree that America or Europe should take more admit more Syria refugees?
Question 5: How should the world respond to terror? Does America has the right to attack ISIS?

It may sound a bit too naive or simplistic, but I feel that a country has the ultimate responsibility to cope with all of its citizens’ troubles overseas. If their people are unfortunately victims of an incident and ask for foreign aid, it is one of local embassy’s roles to reach out to help and as necessary take them home safely. Criminals hiding abroad, in other cases, should be extradited back and put on domestic trials. To avoid abuse of the foreign affairs system, cost of these overseas “rescue” services, when significant, should bill the ones who benefit.

By the principle of humanitarianism, it seems morally superior to demand that developed countries like US and EU take more Syrian refugees. There’s however more to the refugee crisis than meets the eye. The first consideration is whether accepting more refugees will solve the problem once and for all. Refugees fled their home towns because of lasting civil wars in Syria. The crisis is the result, not the cause. Taking in more runaways along could be as futile as placing a larger bucket for water dripping from roof without stopping the leak. The lion's share of efforts should go into easing conflicts in Syria fast and the ebb of refugee tide will come naturally.

Second, taking large population of refugees inevitably impacts a country’s politics, culture, economy, finance and social stability in the long run. Even with carefully designed policy and effective execution, it takes years or even decades for immigrants to assimilate into local communities. If this is not done properly, the immigrant population will end up becoming a breeding ground for future social unrest.
