(ONLINE) 6/22 (Tue) Can we talk about sex? (Host: Kat)

文章 Kat C »

Dear friends,

I promised an "all about sex" discussion before the pandemic lockdown, and here's for making good on my word. But can we really talk about sex?

Across geography and cultures, and throughout the entire human history, we would be hard-pressed to find another activity that takes so little time (?) but causes so much trouble. Sex is many things: Life creation, a biological need, an evolutionary instinct, pleasure, a trade, a form of bonding, a loving act. Sex is also viewed as a necessary evil, a family obligation, a sin, a taboo, a danger, a weapon, a way to dominate, a source of shame, or even a crime.

Before we could begin to explore this complex world of sex we often come up against a brick wall—it’s off limits for most discussions, public or private.

But if any group can tackle this hard subject—pun intended—in an open-minded, respectful, and, most important, playful manner, Yoyo is it. As always, I’ll use various discussion formats and try to do this fun topic justice. After all, sex is nothing if no fun, right?
