Session One
1. What toys did you like the best when you were a kid? Do you still like it? Why and why not?
1.1 Do you sometimes visit toy stores? What do you see and do there?
1.2 What toys do you still want to buy as an adult? Why?
2. Adults are buying toys for themselves, and it’s the biggest source of growth for the industry.
2.1 Does this news surprise you? Why and why not?
2.2 What are the reasons that some adults are buying toys not for kids, but for themsleves?
2.3 Would adults spend more money on toys and eventually become the major target customers for the industry in the future? What does this mean for us as a society?
3. What are the possible benefits for adults playing with toys?

4. What are some of the reasons that adults shouldn't play with toys (too much)?
4.1 Is it childish for adults to play with toys? Does it mean that they are immature and thus have lower ability on other things?
4.2 Do kidults refuse to grow up to avoid responsibility so they don't work hard, take challenges and refuse to have a family and kids?

Important Notes:
1. We advise participants to print out the discussion questions and bring them to the meeting for reference. As for the supporting articles, feel free to print them out, as well, according to your preference.
2. We suggest that participants read the articles and think about the questions in advance.
3. Newcomers should prepare a two-to-three minute self-introduction in English to deliver when called upon by the host before the start of the discussion. The host may also ask you to give brief feedback about the meeting at the conclusion of the meeting.
4. We conduct the entire meeting in English. All participants should have at least moderate English-conversation skills and be able to articulate your ideas for each discussion question.
5. We welcome newcomers and other guests to attend the meetings and join the discussion freely for two times. After that, we hope you will consider becoming a YoYo English Club member. We charge a NT$1500 lifetime membership fee, or NT$1000 for students.
