3/2 (Sat.) Among expectation, reality and sacrifice (Host:Debby)

文章 Debby wu »

Section 1
When the New Year rolls around, people will have some expectations and set goals to reach in the new year.

Expectations are what we think will happen, while reality is what actually transpires. This inconsistency can result in feelings of disappointment or frustration. Do you feel these two don't match up sometimes or all the time?

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) jobs are some of the most high-paying jobs in the United States. It’s because they require immense knowledge in science, mathematics, and technological domains, and the educational path toward such can be challenging and full of sacrifices.

Do you know what kind of life these employees lead to earn their salary? The reference videos contain field interviews and show real cases. Let's start to explore and discuss.

Below articles are for reference if you want to get more before meeting. If you don’t have time to read, it’s okay and you still can feedback from your experience.

What a coincidence! I just learned from Iris that the best is to have "no expectation". It's even better than low expectations.
