文章 janet12tw »

Hi Everyone,

I found 2 funny & informative Ted Talks as the links as below.
Since I also want to learn how to bounce back from the failure & be more creative in life,
I think people can relate to these 2 topics.
So let's watch these 2 videos first & discuss about them in the meeting !

*Session I: How failure cultivates resilience

*Vocabulary:
1. Resilience: the ability to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
2. Trials: a difficult or troubling situation.
3. Setbacks: a reversal or check in progress.
4. Emotional callouses: the ability to become less sensitive to emotional pain over time.

*Session II: How to be a more creative person

Questions for Discussion

Session I:

1. What is the definition of resilience?

2. What are some examples of people who have developed resilience through failure?
Could you also share one of your own experiences with us?

Session II:
1. What are some of the common myths about creativity that the speaker debunks?

2. What is the relationship between creativity and fear?

3. What are some of the techniques for boosting creativity? Which one is the most effective one to you?

4. What are some of the ways we can overcome creative blocks?
Please give us an example about yourself when you suffered a creative block. How did you overcome it?
