Describing cars, trains, planes etc that can go fast: fast [adj]

Examples:
1. He is one of the fastest runners in the world.
2. He loves fast cars.

Describing a fast movement or physical action: quick or rapid [adj]

Examples:
1. He granted me with a quick nod of the head.
2. to walked with short, quick steps.
3. to cast a quick glance towards someone.
4. I heard rapid footsteps approaching.
5. His breathing becomes rapid.

Describing an action, process, or piece of work that is done quickly and without delay: quick or rapid [adj]

Example:
1. to make a quick decision
2. to offer our customer a quick service
3. a rapid response
4. He made a rapid calculation in his head and decided that $100 was a fair price.

催促對方進行某種行為時說: Quick!

要求開車的人速度再快一點: Faster!

Comparing synonyms side by side may not be the most efficient way to learn. Unless two or more synonyms happens to be a learning bottleneck that must be resolved. English learning should be more consequential and not too intentional. Use the thesaurus as a reference, resolve the ambiguity when you come to it. Unless you have all the time in the world to be preemptive.
I am not abandoning Yoyo, I am just dancing slowly away from it.
