God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed,
courage to change the things which should be changed
and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

In regard to the issue of learning English, I have some personal comments ( though not thoroughly correct ; )
I would suggest you read books rather than pratice through so called _english_practice_magzine_, e.g., 'English Digest'. The primary reason is that, through reading books, it helps you organize structure of books you read systematically; not merely receivnig fragment information. For instance, many people who are able to obtain higer scores in the exam; however, they fail in orgnizing or miusing data/ information properly, simply because they ignore the point that might be critical in the context.
If a user insist to learn English through magazine, they should find a better (or more academic) one. Upon this point, a recommended magazine ought to be the Economist. The reasons are simple. First, it contains many academic vocabulary, increasing the quantities of phrases and idiom of readers. Second, academic usage in making sentence. That is quite useful for reader to write sentence appropriately. Alternative recommended magazine is 'National Geographic', resulting from the diversity of topics provided.
I have experienced many problems since starting to learn English through traditional education system; therefore, I can figure it out. Though I am still on the road to use English more decent, I am pleased to come to an aid to those who need help as well.
