I listen to both Chinese songs and English songs. Here is what I have noticed. I react more emotionally toward Chinese songs, but I found English songs more dynamic and liberating. In general, I think there are more Chinese songs on heartbreak and there are more English songs on defiance. Chinese songs are more meek and submissive. And English songs are more about empowerment. Feel free to disagree.
