I just started a new novel by John Grisham, a well-known best-selling author. The title is A TIME TO KILL. It's John's novel debut and was adapted for movie afterward (

Since it was published 20 years and since it's John's work, you should find it rather easy to get a copy from a library. Just a heads-up. Like THE LOVELY BONES, the novel starts with a dreadful tragedy in its first chapter, which might make you feel sad or uncomfortable. The good part is John did a much greater job than the author of THE LOVELY BONES in the first chapter. So at least you would feel your upset worthy.
Another novel that I am considering reading is SARAH'S KEY (
http://www.eslite.com/product.aspx?pgid ... 9601890182). It only has 300 pages but the theme is also fairly heavy. I'll probably read the two novels in turn.
There won't be official meeting on it. We will exchange ideas, reviews, feelings, or questions whenever we meet in YOYO's gathering. I plan to finish the novels in three or four months. That means 100 to 150 pages a month. Contact me if you are interested in any of the two novels.
