I checked out an English book from the library. This book is about some notes made by President Ronald Reagan

There is a classic quote said by him in the book. "Flattery is what makes husbands out of bachelors"

In the beginnings, I could not get what it means, but I thought over and over again and finally grasped its meaning a little bit.

However, I am not very sure about it. How would you translate this quote into Chinese? ( Let's make it as a translation contest, don't cheat, though, don't google it )

Maybe this quote would be a good tip for the bachelors in our club......hahaha

"Honesty is as much abandoned by the theft of a dime as of a dollar." = 偷一分錢的不誠實等於偷一塊錢的不誠實

"Never concede to a friend any more power over the lives of others than you would to your worst enemy" = 不要輕易的把權力分發出去.

Roughly translated, feel free to refine it.

後面這兩句粉深,實在要再好好想一想;但第一句Rock實在翻的太妙了!

我本來還以為是:嘴甜的女人才能讓單身漢得到救贖.......Haaa......太可笑了.....

This book is from Reagan Dynasty, not Ming Dynasty...hahaha....Anyway, 第二句還是不太懂, please help get to the bottom of it.

As for the second sentence, I don't know if I can rewrite it this way or not.
