The government declares it is hard to get full house vote if we need to put the amount of carbon dioxide emission we want to cut into consideration. But it is a good start that people's attention are raised to the global warming. Because the republicans in the congress opposed to this bill, put a limit in the amount of carbon dioxide emission needed to be cut will make it even harder and delay the process for several years. But based on the weather condition now, the government hope they can cut 83% of emission amount in 2005 by the year of 2015.

Due to the bad weather condition, the shuttle of Atlantic cannot land as planned this morning. So the NASA need to make sure enough oxygen is provided for the astronauts and to generate electricity for keeping the shuttle orbit safely through the weekend.

President Obama has approved a new law that the banks will not raise interest if the credit card payment is not settled more than 60 days behind the payment. And the government will enforce a stricter law in giving credit card to people age 21. This law will be put into practice next year.
