Switzerland’s Federal Administrative Court says the country’s financial regulator acted illegally when it turned over to tell a hundred of taker’s bank accounts to US investigators. Last February the regulator ordered Swiss banking giant UBS to hand over information about 255 of its US clients suspected of tax evasion.

The Swiss financial regulator says it consulted the government before handing over the files. It says it acted to save UBS from insolvency and criminal charges. But the Swiss federal court ruled the regulator acted unilaterally and should not have ordered the UBS to hand over the files before it has received an official request for assistance from Washington. In August the government gave in to intense pressure and agreed to hand over details to the US Internal Revenue Service of another 4500 account holders suspected of tax fault.

President Obama says the disappointing jobs report released by the labor department yesterday is a reminder that the road to recovery is never straight. NPR's (name) reports. US employers cut another eighty-five thousand workers from their payrolls last month. One in ten would-be workers is looking for a job. Although the job picture is not nearly so bleak 'cause it was a year ago this time December's numbers were a disappointment for President Obama. He promised to keep working every single day to get the economy moving again. "We have to continue to explore every avenue to accelerate the return to hiring." As part of that effort the President announced the winner of 2.3 billion dollars in tax credit from the government stimulus program to encourage the manufacture of clean energy products. Mr. Obama said the government had enough qualified applicants to award three times that much. He wants Congress provides another 5 billion dollars to expand the tax credit, so clean energy companies can hire more workers.

A bus. getaway New Jersey man has been arrested in connection with last Sunday's security breach at Newark's international airport. Authorities say (name) will be charged with defying trespass. New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg says anyone who flies on the plane would be outraged over the incident. "People know that this was xxx... this was xxx thing to do. You can't put around of raving through the xxx screen that's airport security." A video of the incident shows a man going underneath the rope of a security guard post to enter a security area. The video was released at Lautenberg's request.

... I can barely understand what the Senator was talking about. :cccry:

For me, this piece is the most difficult one of all the assignments this week. I revised it a little bit anyway. This is my version:

Portugal's Parliament has voted to allow same sex couples to marry. The country’s socialist prime minister describe the move as historic one that overturn long established discrimination. But the government sponsored legislation specifically bars same sex couple from adopting children. The socialist party and election manifest have included to legalize same sex marriage and it was government first political initiative in this parliament. Despite it's lacking an xxx trial majority in assembly passage was assured thanks to the backing of two small left parties, They're unhappy though with provision denial same sex couples’ right to adopt children still any attempt to get that clause reviewed and committee states will be squashed by socialist who say them they didn’t strain to adoption rights when legislation finally emerges from parliament Portugal's president to appose the reform may ask the constitution court to consider any doubt he has about it otherwise he can only delay it.
