Dear ISGers,

For our Oct. 2 Skype meeting I'd like to share with you one of my favorite shows - Inside the Actor's Studio. I'm really into theater, as some of you know; actors fascinate the director and critic in me as few other groups of people do. I thought I'd pick a popular and very articulate actor among many that had gone on the show. Matt Damon seems to be a pretty fun choice.

You don't have to go beyond part 1, but you are certainly welcome to the rest of the show. What I would like to pay attention to is the general "interview" type of discussion and language we find there. The Q & A style dialogue is useful in many ways.

Just to clarify a bit:

As an imperative you'd say, "Make some sound."
To use "any", the whole sentence might be: "I can't make any sound. My mic doesn't work!"
