Dear ISG members,
Since we'd got some connection problems this morning, and could not go through the questions for today's topic, I decided to leave them to my next hosting (and sounded like you've consented to it). As we have already listened to the podcast, I would like to add a new assignment for my next meeting.
For your convenience, here are the related links for the topic:

And here is the questions for discussion:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q1. Do you think it is hard for most people to say “I don’t know” for things they really have no idea? If so, what are the reasons for them?
Q2. Do you have any irrational fears? What are they and what reasons do you think that made them?
Q3. Do you think politicians should be given some training before they take up their official positions? If so, in what fields should courses be offered and who should be in charge of designing and offering training programs? Do you think parenting training should also be mandatory for parents-to-be? What other capacities or functions of a person should be certified while they are not now?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new assignment:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Please pick the words and/or phrases from the podcast that you think are worth learning, and post them in this thread.
2. please write an article usING as many of the words and/or phrases you picked as you can .

I got a bad cold and lost my voice. Hope things will get better after a night's sleep. Or I really don't know what to do at tomorrow's online meeting.

Sherry. About the last question. I think it is better to put it as : What other capacities or qualities of a person should be certified, while this person is not now?Sherry Liao 寫:Q1.
