ISG 120408(Extra) Upgrading Our Meeting

文章 Just JJ »

Dear ISG mates,
There were only two team mates, I and Sherry on line last Sunday. We were talking about how to upgrade our discussion. The three following issues can be drawn at the next meeting:
1.We can resume assignment, but not compulsory?
2.Whether we can have an agreement to response the grammar and word choice correction from our team mate?
3.The agreement about if there is any type of English material in particular that can be avoided.

(just added)
4. Is there anyone want to step up to be a leader for us??

About the 3rd issue, I think we can also discuss which topics/ learning materials are of interest to most members.

We used to have a morning call service for members who joined the meeting on a regular basis. I wonder if we resume this tradition to members who tend to oversleep… yes, Navi, I am talking about you.

The second point is a good suggestion.

We should get rid of the ego problem and try to correct each other for improvement

The ego issue is exactly what we call "面子問題" in Asian culture.

Dear ISGers,

I've got extraordinary high amounts of work load since this year and the load is continually increasing - I was transferred to a new department at work and has lately started playing a bigger role in the team.

Now I rarely spend time learning English. I guess it's time you pick a new leader for ISG, for I'm no longer suitable for this position and can no longer motivate you to practice English. :cccry:

Take care my friends.

Regards,
Kooper
