Session One
How to use the Pirate Bay legally

Attention please, what you're about to do is totally legal, but someone may accuse you for not being meticulously ethical. What you need to do is ignore them and tell them to fxxk off.

1. Browing websites like the Priate Bay and 1377x is totally legal as long as you don't download anything from the torrent client, so please take a look. What do you see? Do you see anything you like?
2. One of the best things about the Pirate Bay is that it serves as a library. Please try searching something, a movie, TV, music or a book, to see if you can find it. Share what you found with people in your group.
2.1 What are the top 100 for? What can you do with it?
3. Are you willing to share good stuff with people? Do you think the world would be better if we have a good sharing system? What is our best sharing system so far? Will the Pirate Bay be terminated in the future, or evolved into something legal and makes everybody happy? If so, what would it be?
3.1 Thingiverse is a pretty new thing. People share their works for free but donations are accepted. Would this be the future sharing system? How can it be better?

Session Two

4. The founders of the Pirate Bay have been charged with 6.6 million dollars, which means they have committed a serious crime. Do you think they deserve it? How much money could you be charged for downloading a movie illegally?
5. It's legal to watch a movie from 劇迷. Why is it illegal to watch that movie with the Pirate Bay then? Do you agree with the concept that sharing files is theft? What are some minor copy right infrigemets we may commit?
6. We know that China doesn't care about copyright infrigement so much so Chinese people actually enjoy free movies and TV better. Why doesn't the Chinese government care about it as much? Is it good for its people?
