3/14(Tue)Gun issues in Taiwan Host: Liwen Chen

Taiwan's gun control laws are among the strictest in the world, and ownership of firearms is tightly regulated. Despite these measures, there have been several incidents of gun violence in Taiwan in recent years. Furthermore, concerns about a potential Chinese invasion, coupled with Russia's invasion of Ukraine, have increased anxiety among some civilians who are seeking to take shooting lessons for self-defense.
Given these developments, it is important to examine the gun issues in Taiwan and discuss ways to address them effectively.
