To be honest, the initial thought that crossed my mind was: Wow, a miracle, a marvel of nature! But is it really his child? Haha! A reasonable doubt! However, this thought only lingered for a few seconds; most of us likely quickly shifted to "It's none of my business.”
Did they impose any burden on society? None. So why bother passing judgment on them? The host labeled them as “horny old men”. Does she think St. Abraham, who continued to have children into his 80s or 90s, would also fall into this group?
I am not religious, nor am I trying to be politically correct, but in this case, “Don't poke your nose where it doesn’t belong” works better for society.

It's always good to have Iris in the discussion. Let me try it...
But I am not sure if it's not imposing any burden on the society, especially when it's on the media and some people seem to care about it. There are many reasons to this. One of them is: when a bunch of super rich old guys are happily have babies with women 40 or even 50 years younger, it's easy for some people to think about it-- they think that money is at work. Discrepency, a problem that rich people don't care, is real. When the voice of the poor cannot be heard because the media is in favor of the rich and the powerful, it doesn't mean that they don't have something to say.
It's known that people have better not to hate the rich because it won't make things better. But when rich people are showing off their super cars, grande mansions and luxurous living styles, are they really so naive that what others are looking at them with are only admirations, but no resentment, despise, and bitterness of unfairness?
I'm not talking about me, of couse. I have rich friends and they pay the bills of our dinners. I love them.

I’ve learned to be more cautious when expressing ideas, even if it’s just playing devil’s advocate for the sake of practicing English. However, I never have to worry about this when “debating” with Rock or Sherry during YoYo meetings. Haha!
Do you think that “money is at work” would differ in any way with or without this kind of news? While I do agree that such events lead to negative social perceptions, the fact that “money is at work” is an inconvenient truth regardless of whether rich men making babies in their late 80s or not.
(Dear Rock, So sorry, I cannot make it tonight. Hope you have a fun meeting tonight!)

No problem. Discussing, or debating, with you here is the second best thing I can have. I wouldn't be totally uncautious if it's Sherry, though.
I have to agree with you that "money at work " won't be any less w/wo rich old men making babies. Actually, I guess it's something we would see more in the future because people are living longer and rich people are getting richer. Women, after their menopause, won't have babies, but men can do it more and longer, especially when they are super rich. Maybe one day this kind of things won't be on the news any more because it's just normal and people don't care about it at all.
