12/09 (Sat.) Creativity Workshop: how to be "new," more "fun," or just a bit "different?" (Host: Kat)

文章 Kat C »

Dear all,

Ever found yourself stuck in an idea rut, the monotony of routine, or a creative block, and desperately searching for inspiration?

Come and “play” our way out of boring conventions and the copy-and-paste mentality, and see if we can transform "stuck" into "sparks" together.

📌 We'll explore some of the ideas from the links below. The views expressed are solely those of the respective authors:

 How to Be Creative on Demand
(Harvard Business Review / video / 3 mins)

 Creativity: The science behind the madness
(Big Think / video / 13 mins)

📌 What have some very creative people said about "creativity?"
Here are some quotes to get us thinking:

🔹"Creativity is intelligence having fun." - Albert Einstein

🔹"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." - Maya Angelou

🔹"Creativity takes courage." - Henri Matisse

🔹"Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something." - Steve Jobs

Ready for some out-of-the-box thinking?
