Move to the top.
Re: 7/27(Sat) Social clock (Host:Leon)
The social clock is an invisible “clock” (force) driving our life decisions to meet societal expectations, such as education, career, marriage, parenthood, and even purchasing a home. I didn't initially consider the 'social clock,' but I realize many of my moves were because this clock was ticking.
It's disheartening to admit we were driven by this unseen impulse. I thought newer generations might be more independent thinkers and less impacted by family, but in reality, they may experience more stress from peers' social media posts. The new social clock may now include milestones like travel destinations and timing, etc.

Iris always provide the insight of the issue.
In this social media age, it provokes people to chase more and more milestones within a shorter time frame than before.
