I put my focus not on the politics but on the language part. These university students of Hong Kong cannot speak Mandarin Chinese? So they have to argue in English. To my surprise....

maybe that's because they intentionally don't want to speak it, out of kind of ideology i would say.. but then again, the Chinese girl's interpretation of democracy is interesting haa~
i might be a cynic and, a sceptic as well but, i'm definitely not a bad person!!

Democracy is just a word. Who knows? Maybe our democracy is also different from the one in the USA? 
It's true that they may refuse to speak Mandarin because of the ideology thing. However, I still am kind of amused at the possible language difference.
