Common Errors: 瞬間動詞

I just refreshed my memory of 瞬間動詞 and found that I'd made tones of mistakes when it comes to 瞬間動詞...

Here is a challenge for you to see how well you are immune to the misuse of 瞬間動詞. Please translate the following sentences into English.

我加入這間公司已3年. 我參加yoyo已數年.
我可以借這本書一個星期嗎?

I did not know what is 瞬間動詞 when I first saw this post.
I guess we can always say, "It has been (how long) since something happened", right? (though it may sound like "cheating".)

#1 我參加yoyo已數年.
"It has been several years since I joined YoYo."
我加入這間公司已3年.
"It has been three years since I joined the company." or
"I have been with the company for three years."
#3 會議/電影已經開始一陣子了
"It has been a while since the meeting started." or
"The meeting started a while ago."
#6 我離開的這段時間,他會代理我的職務
"He will act on my behalf while I am away." (?)
#7 這部車我已經買10年了
"I have had this car for ten years." or
"It has been ten years since I bought this car."
#11 我已失業(辭職)10年了
"I have been unemployed for ten years." ["between jobs for 10 years" seems a bit too long... ]
#13 他已找到工作並開始上班一周了
"He got a job and has been working there for a week." (Is this OK, too?)

Here are some instructions found on the Internet regarding how to use 瞬間動詞.

動詞大致可以這樣分類：
1. 動態動詞: 又可分為 (a)延續性動詞 如work, live, stay, study, etc. (b)瞬間動詞 如die, kill, marry, open, etc.
2. 狀態動詞

延續性動詞 (狀態動詞)：表示持續的動作或行為。
非延續性動詞 (瞬間動詞)：表示動作發生後立即結束

瞬間動詞可以搭配完成式( have+p.p )，只是不能跟「表示持續一段時間」的時間副詞 (例如：for, how long, since+片語、子句) 連用。因此，如果句子中想要連用表持續一段時間的時間副詞時，就必須將它變成狀態動詞。

如果我們要將瞬間動詞與表示持續一段時間的時間副詞用在一起時，我們必須對瞬間動詞「做一番處理」。一般而言，其處理方式有三種：第一種方式是使用瞬間動詞的簡單過去式；第二種是使用「It is (or has been) + 一段時間 + since 子句 (瞬間動詞的簡單過去式)」或「一段時間 + has passed + since 子句 (瞬間動詞的簡單過去式)」句型；第三種就是如上述將瞬間動詞改為意思相同的狀態動詞。

*說來奇怪，雖然瞬間動詞不能跟表示持續一段時間的時間副詞連用，但其否定的完成式卻可以。
